A home business with no red tape! It is so much easier to start up your own company in Honduras. That is just what my husband did. He found a way to support his family even when the odds were against him.
I just finished up a month of blogging on topics for each letter of the alphabet. The
April is now over and so is the A to Z Challenge 2014. I have never participated in something like this and I am so glad I did. It was a challenge for sure, but so worth it!
Z-is-for-Zanahoria: Who doesn’t like carrot cake, raise your hand? I just made a large batch – maybe we should try some. Of course, I will have the coffee too!
Y-is-for-Yamaha: Transportation that helps save money. A moto lasts longer running errands on the lempiras that we put in the gas tank. Gas is like gold and we have to make that gold last as long as possible.
X-is-for-Xiomara: Libre Party for the people of Honduras. Iris Xiomara Castro de Zelaya is a Honduran Politician. Most just use her second name. When someone is talking about politics and mentions Xiomara they all know where the conversation is going.
W-is-for-Watermelon: A fantastic fruit that brings a smile to my face! Thank goodness there are no allergies in our family. I wouldn’t know what to do. We could eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner – no problem.
V-is-for-Vaca: A main dairy & meat producer here in the department of Olancho. Milk cows help make our favorite cheese. Cattle provide for cookouts. Two things my husband loves!
U-is-for-Umbrella: What can your sombrilla do for you? Really your umbrella can be a loyal travel companion. No, it can’t give directions like your smart phone, but it does more than you think and doesn’t talk back.
